Response: : (2/01/19): Hello hello… first off, I completely appreciate you changing the rating. I totally deserve a 3 or less for the lateness in sending. I also understand that your opinions are different than mine, which also contributes to the rating. However, a few things. There wasn’t a swap amount minimum to this one. You stated it was “an expensive $10 min swap,” which is false. Nowhere did I mention that it required a monetary amount. I also was not a recipient to your package in this swap, which you stated twice that I should send to you as you did for me. You never sent me a package. So I’m not sure where you’re getting that from as well. ________________________________________
My error is not clarifying that it should be “mermaid theme” rather than “EACH ITEM MUST HAVE A MERMAID ON IT,” as you seem to have interpreted. To acknowledge each piece you stated, I apologize for your disappointment as everyone has their own opinions. “Mini notepads” in actuality would be “mini notepads.” Not one that cost $4 as one I sent you (which is 1 item by itself), and the other, smaller… but not “mini.” (So that’s 1 “item” even though there was 2). 3 die cuts and several cut outs of my hand-lettered writing that was mermaid themed, is what I sent to you. (now 2 items) “It's hard to put a monetary value on handmade items so there isn't a specific minimum to this swap price wise” was my statement as well as “if sending sheets of paper, even scraps please make sure it all shapes up to be at least 5 12x12's in size,” as in designed pieces of paper that we use on scrapbooks or background pages. My error in thinking this was evident in the description. But not only was what I sent you NOT “scraps of paper,” they were my own hand-lettering on white paper. The two rolls of ribbon were 2 shades of blue, which were mermaid themed colors (3 items now). I sent 3 “yarn” thingies I don’t even know what they’re called, 3 halves of felt in mermaid colors (4 “items” total now), but also were mermaid colored. I sent a cardboard style mermaid decorated tag, 2 notecards with envelope theme (5 items). The photo album was not mini, it was 4x6 aka postcard size and mint green/teal which is mermaid in theme. (6 items). None of these things were from the $1 store, and I stated in the requirements if you purchase anything from there, please make it 3 things to equal “1 item.” ________________________________________
I truly would have happily sent you more things just for the heck of it because that’s what I do when I am late because it is ALWAYS my fault in my timing/life and I own up to it every time it happens. However, you had such a negative/irksome tone in not only your private messages, but on the comments as well, which speak for themselves here. You were very hard to send a package to, which I love the challenge on normally, but your profile is SO extremely picky on what to send you. And what not to send you “PLEASE NO: Loose note paper sheets, washi samples, makeup bags/coin purses” among other things NOT to send. Those exact things were what people sent ME mermaid themes, but holy, you were hard to put a package together for. I was very much aware there was going to be no pleasing you no matter what I sent, and that’s easy to tell upon reading your profile. So yes, I understand your disappointment. However, I do not regret sending what I did because I absolutely had trouble putting things together for you because of your profile as well as with how you were responding to me through this time. I got “less” than what you did in some swaps before but I was absolutely thrilled because it was put together with care and someone took the time to stick a stamp on an envelope to send me just stickers at times. And I put more effort in that for yours. ________________________________________
You rated me a 1 before you ever messaged me asking, “Hey! Did you send this?” You wrote me down as a “flaker” on your profile before I had ever reached out to you and even after I did. I’ve been late a few (more than a few times) and all these people deserve so much more than I have ever sent them, but I tried to make up for it as you can see with the remainder of my ratings. I’ll happily let all these words between us explain this particular one. ________________________________________

Comment: UPDATE 1/29. I RESPONDED TO YOU THAT I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM YOU. DON'T YOU HAVE A TRACKING # SO YOU CAN CHECK? YOU HAVE NOT PROVIDED ME WITH ONE. You say you haven't heard back from your 2nd message to me, but you just never read it. See here, I copied & pasted my messages sent to you: "Jan 23 Unread RE: mermaid swap KatrinaKatrina Dec 15 Read RE: Mermaid swap KatrinaKatrina" You have had plenty of time to figure out the confusion you are having about this swap you hosted. Just send what you stated in your swap instructions and I will happily change this rating for you. This was an expensive $10 min swap, so please come through for me, like I did for my partners (including you) Thank you. ------

Response: Hi Kimberly! I sent you 2 messages about this trying to find out if you got it. I know you responded to the first one, but I sent another one in error thinking it was yours I received for my own swap, with the message saying I wanted to re-do yours since we had similar things to send to each other. I assume I messed up and switched people around if you have't gotten it yet; I'll double check that yours wasn't one I had to fix last week :) <3 ------
Swap requirements:
Let's swap some mermaid things! For this one, there should be a minimum of 6 items. Feel free to add more, but please rate a 5 to your partners if you receive the minimum amount!
You can include something handmade (ATCs, pocket letters, flipbooks), storebought (towels, notebooks, earbuds), anything! If you have questions on what's equivalent, please message me :). It's hard to put a monetary value on handmade items so there isn't a specific minimum to this swap price wise. However, here are some equivalents to 1 item:
________________________________________
2 ATC's = 1 item
1 pocket letter with trinkets on the back
3 handmade bookmarks = 1 item
if sending sheets of paper, even scraps please make sure it all shapes up to be at least 5 12x12's in size
4 sheets of stickers count as 1 item. if the package has 2, that's only half an item :)
(feel free to suggest or ask questions in comments or messages)
If item is from the $1 store, then 3 items count as 1 item
Here's some examples of store bought that count as 1:
Towel
Slippers
Socks (unless from $1 store, then see above)
3 mini notebooks
1 journal/notebook
pad of paper
Basically, if something store-bought costs $1, please be awesome and get 3 things that cost a $1 to count as 1 "item." A $5 item is 1 item, a $10 item is 1 item. I trust that these swaps are going to be honorable if we've all completed 20 with minimal negative ratings.

Requirements: -rating of 4.75 or higher -minimum of 20 swaps must already be completed -minimum 5 type 3's -no unexplained 1's and 3's please. Please comment in the swap or direct me to the comments in your profile that have the response to a low rating.
I'll be checking profiles to keep it fair between all swappers! If you've had lateness issues in the past, please let me know- believe me I have been there unfortunately.
If you need clarification on other things, just message me!
