Response: Oh! That is so disappointing! I tried to wrap the owl in bubble wrap but it didn't fit in the 'business sized envelope' that was required so I paid the extra postage to have it hand stamped instead of going through the machines. That was the last owl necklace they had at Claire's, otherwise I'd offer to get you another. I hope you are able to find one!
Response: I'm glad you liked the package. Thanks for remembering to rate even in the middle of moving! You are amazing! Let me know if you'd like to talk about the FLW book when you are done...I was hoping you had not read it, and thought about asking but didn't want to spoil the surprise element of the swap by asking you ahead of time. I'm so glad that it is new to you!
Response: I'm so glad you like them! They were fun to make and it was a nice challenge looking for tiny squares on tea foils that would look good as necklaces! Thanks for the heart!
Response: Yay! So glad you liked it. I was nervous it would be too 'outside the box'. Thank you for the heart too!
Response: I'm so glad that you liked it; I was pretty sure you would. I so enjoyed sending to you last time, so it was fun creating for you again!
Response: Thank you for this rating and heart! I am so glad to hear that you liked it. Merry Christmas to you too!
Response: It made my day to read your rating! Thank you. I've seen your amigurumis on flickr--if you have any trouble with the Totoro, than it will have to be because of a flaw in the pattern, not your work.
Response: I'm so glad that you like the things I sent--especially the poetry, since it is unusual to find a profile of someone I can send it to. Thanks for the heart!
Response: Ah, that's what I was talking about! Thanks for another 'made my day' rating comment! ; )
Response: Thanks for the generous feedback! So, I keep wondering--was it really petroleum free or did I miss a secret code word for petroleum?
Response: Thanks! Can't wait 'til next time!
Response: You are very welcome. It's my current favorite crochet item. I'm glad you like it too!
Response: The flowers are not nearly as nice as the ones you sent out for this swap, but they were my best effort. Thanks for the heart!
Response: Once I saw that pattern on your etsy wishlist, I didn't need to brainstorm anymore--I knew exactly what kind of kit to send you! Glad you like it. I'd love to see pictures when you finish the bicornu.
Response: I'm so happy that the pins have found a good home with you. I love the idea of pins, but I seldom wear them. I think it is awesome that you are putting the pins to use! Thanks for that. And for the heart!
Response: I'm really glad that you liked everything...the package felt really 'ramdom' to me, but I thought they were all things you'd like. It's good to hear that your daughter liked the Golden Snitch. Thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm glad you liked everything. Thanks for the compliments and for the heart.
I can't take credit for the card...that was made by patumma. I'll have to ask her to sign the backs next time she makes me swap cards!
Response: I'm glad you liked him; he was fun to make!
Response: I could tell from your profile that you would appreciate the handwritten recipe book. I was so happy to make it for you! (BTW, I keep checking your profile for updates about your dad...)
Response: Just use them, Silly! If they get worn out, I'll make you more. I'm glad you like the wrapping well enough to keep it!
Response: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=365046.0
Glad you like them! When you go to the link, you'll notice the face is quite different...but you can choose to do it however you like. I did a pink one for my daughter with an embroidered nose and cat-style mouth and that is cute too...
Response: I knew it was supposed to arrive today, so I was thinking about you opening the package. I had such fun assembling all the items. I hoped you'd love it--so glad to hear that you did!
Response: Thanks for sharing the picture of poor Neo! I am so glad that you liked everything. I hope we get a chance to swap again in the future--your profile is great and easy to mine for ideas!
Response: That's cute! I'm glad they liked it as well!
Response: It took me a long time to brainstorm what to make, but once I finally knew what I was going to do, it all came together easily. I'm glad you liked it!
Response: Glad you liked everything. You'll have to tell me what you think when you finish the book!
Response: I know, I was suprised at the heft of that little box! I couldn't have afforded to send you almost four pounds of metal goodies if not for the USPS's awesome flat rate boxes. I hope you'll let me know when you make something.
Response: This is a great story! Thanks for making me laugh too. I'm glad that you liked the ring and necklace. I was so nervous about this swap!
Response: You are welcome. I'm really glad that you like the things I sent. It was fun putting them together and seeing how much I could fit in the box.
Response: I has so much fun making that bracelet, but I wasn't sure if you would like it. I'm glad that you do! Thanks for the heart!
Response: It was great meeting you! I'm look forward to future swaps and visits with you too!
Response: I'm so glad you liked everything. I will be interested to see how the carding goes--you are even more ambitious than I am! If you have any trouble completing the cashmere rose, just let me know and I can send you a link to the tutorial. Good luck with the needlefelting. I'd love to see what you make; let me know when you get the results up on Folksy so that I can check them out.
Response: It's good to hear that you like them. And thanks for the heart!
Response: No worries. I almost resent when I didn't hear from you--it was new stationery and I was afraid the address stickers might have peeled off! I'm glad you like them.
Response: You are more than welcome to make little penny sleeves! If you ever do 'steal' that idea, you'll have to give me some tips on how to sew on vinyl. It totally gives me the runaround!
Response: Thanks for your comments. And for the heart!
Response: Thanks for the five and the heart. I hope you'll love needle felting as much as I do! It is super fun and easy, but a little time consuming. I'm glad that you'll get use out of the pattern...I was actually recycling it myself since I recieved it as wrapping in a swap. I think it is awsome that the pattern finally found the right owner. I plan to keep checking in on your store. I love your nature pictures.
Response: I'm glad you liked your 'tiny thing'. I can't believe it got to you so quickly! I still have more of that fabric if you ever want a tea wallet, or something like that.
Response: I'd love to trade with you again too! I'm really glad that you like the penny wallet--it was a real learning experience for me learning to sew vinyl. It kept sticking to the sewing machine! The clover chain was so quick and easy--I'm glad you like it. I couldn't find kelly green yarn in a natural fiber (at our local crafting mega-mart). I think it would be pretty to make the shamrocks from wool and then felt them before stringing them together.
Response: Thanks for your kind comments. It is really rewarding to get such nice compliments and to know that the little owl has found a good home. Thanks especially for your comment about 'bunching on purpose' because it gave me an idea for what I could do differently next time. We've been wearing our shamrocks already, because once March gets here there are only so many days to wear green before it's over and time to move on to Easter. I'll send you a PM when I get your owl onto my blog...
Response: I hope you get to see one in real life someday!
Response: We'll have to make sure there are more Smooshed Penny Swaps in the future... (:
Response: I was pretty sure that bear would be a hit! I'm glad to hear I was right. Now you'll just have to start making/collecting amigurumis. They are so much fun!
Response: If you ever get a chance to take a picture of Pretzel with her monkey blanket, I'd love to see it. I saw her in your Flickr pics and she is such a doll!
Response: I'm really happy that you liked the Valentines Box. I bought too much stuff to fit in the box, so I tried to send you only the best of the lot. (:
Response: If I could send more than items, I would. I am sending healing thoughts your way!
Response: it was fun learning how to make a fabric postcard; I'm glad you like it. Thanks for the heart!
Response: You like my handwriting? Awww (blush). That is so nice of you. My mom and my husband always give me grief about my handwriting because they say they can't read it!
Response: My oldest is asking for an earth and fire one now. If I do figure out how to do that, I'll have to send one to you. Our youngest came up to me yesterday with the cutest little fairy frog sticker and it made me think of you.
Response: You are very welcome. I hope you can use the Build a Bear coupon before it expires. I love those kind of 'gift certificate' coupons and they send them to us all the time. We've gotten lots of free outfits from the clearance rack that way!
Response: You are incredibly welcome. It is hard to make something like that because purses are so personal, so I was nervous about whether you would like it or not. I could only find one fabric with ligthhouses, so that was an easy choice!
Response: It's nice to hear that it made it to you--I wasn't sure how long to expect for international mail. Enjoy!
Response: Thanks! They were fun to make. When you are ready to peel the paper off, instead of picking at a corner like you would do with a sticker, pull gently against the bias to stretch the fabric in the middle. That should tear a little spot in the middle edge and you can easily peel from there instead of causing fraying by picking the corners. If you have any trouble figuring out how to iron them on, feel free to send me a PM.
Response: Thanks for hosting! It is a great idea. I'll be keeping my eyes out for the other themes so I can participate again.
Response: They are my most favorites. If you get a chance to try them, I'd love to know what you think! Thanks for the heart--I was nervous about my handwriting; even though I tried to write neatly, it seems like I just don't have an artist's hand!
Response: I'm so glad you like the bookmark. I had fun making it. The fabric is from Hobby Lobby.
Response: Thanks for the super positive feedback! I hope you like the tamarind candy--it is kind of 'outside the box' for most American palates, but that sour/spicy combo is really popular for Mexican sweets. (At least the ones I've tried.)
Response: I'm so glad you like it! I had a lot of fun reading your profile and putting everything together for you. I'm looking forward to your message.
Response: I'm so glad you liked everything! My daughter fell in love with the owl too and wanted to keep it, so I'm glad I sent it anyway. Thanks for being my first swap buddy.
