Description:

This is an artsy painting/drawing profile challenge swap! We're going to look through our partner's profile page and make a portrait of how we envision them.

Some people have photos of themselves in their profile. You can choose to ignore them and just look at the text if you want.

Portraits can be classy, silly, pretty, weird... whatever you think suits your partner! You must include at least 5 elements of their profile. If you don't think it will be obvious write them a little note explaining (you have wings because... you're wearing a blue poncho because... you're sitting beside a tarantula because...)

Any non-digital medium/style in colour is welcome. The picture must be at least 8.5'' x11'' (the size of a normal piece of printer paper.) Please mail it flat.

This is not a quick no-thought kind of swap! Please take at least an hour to work on your picture and don't just send a quick doodle.

How fun I hope I have time to be able to do this swap I will have to see if I can get enough things cleared.

Is this strictly painting/drawing? I was wondering because I never took my school's art teacher's advice of working bigger and tend to work small so the size scares me! It'd be fine though if collage etc. was permitted. Also, portrait. By this do you mean imagining what the person's face would be like? Or is it more an interpretation of their interests? As in, would their imagined face have to take up most of the room? Sorry for so many questions!

Sorry I didn't get back to you on time to sign up. (Haven't got internet in my apartment yet so things are a bit disorganized.) If I do another swap like this some time I'll be sure to clarify more.
