Description:

Can you doodle? Then you can zentangle! Sometimes calling it doodling makes it less intimidating (though some of you have no fear anyway!) This is a fun, very easy swap!

Knitmom7 has helped me come up with a bunch of fun new handmade postcard swaps so we'll start with this one. I don't know about you, but I can't wait to own a little basketfull of unique handmade postcards to rifle through when the mood strikes me. So let's make some postcards!

For this swap, think of how you feel and what you see when you are dreaming. Then doodle it! For me, I think of pillowy clouds, wispy moons, closed eyes, curvy disconnected lines and rhythmic ocean waves. What comes to your mind? Let your pen lead you there, allow your design to surprise you. Feel free to use colors or not. Shade or don't. You might or might not fill up the entire card, or you might doodle several different areas floating in space (sometimes I have a few disjointed dreams in one night, or age-related "gaps" in memory -lol). Feel free to take something from my example and let it lead you someplace new! I practice a few lines in my journal to warm up, but you don't have to.

1 postcard 1 partner. Ready? Go!

so we probably shouldn't doodle one of those dreams where you show up naked in a college classroom, not having studied for the test? :^O

Also, are we supposed to be doodling, or zentangling? They are actually different...

Ha ha ha! Oh no, not the naked dreams! I had them in elementary school! That will be our doodled nightmare HPC! I spoze there is a difference b/n doodling and zenning, there is, but I wanted no one to feel intimidated if they could do one, but weren't so good at the other. And you could have both on the pc. Basically a hand drawn representation of lovely dreams. But when you say "hand drawn" everybody groans!
