So... how often have you said to yourself, "Self, I wish I could re-enact my favorite scenes from history/literature/television, but I can't afford action figures! Whatever shall I do?" (Note: I say this at least once a week, so you are not alone.) Fear not, the answer is here! Famous Couple Sock Puppets!! Why a famous couple? Because socks come in pairs! I'm not asking you to send away one sock, leaving its mate sad and lonely in your sock drawer. If you're going to make one sock puppet, you might as well make two. You may choose any famous couple in history, in literature, or from movies or television. You must include a note with your sock puppets describing who they are and what universe they are from. You do not have to choose a romantically involved pair (for example, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson). Just a couple of individuals (you are not restricted to people) who are commonly associated together (Bonnie and Clyde, Romeo and Juliet, Mulder and Scully, Charlie Brown and Linus, etc.). For extra credit, you may send your partner any props you think would be helpful in their re-enactments. I will leave that part open to your imagination. Um, wash your dirty nasty socks first? That would be great. It would be really awesome of you to peek at your partner's profile and check into their favorites (heaven knows I would love me some Jane Austen sock puppets) but this is not mandatory. Usual rules apply. Flakers will be tossed behind the washing machine all by themselves and covered in dryer lint. |
