Mini Kawaii Swap & Oh, a Letter too!

I have a few questions... First of all, what is "fake" kawaii? And also, is it acceptable for this swap? There is a Japanese store called Daiso near my college that I love to get stationery from, but I don't know if it sells real kawaii. Thanks for your help!

You'll see Daiso in the not permitted list in most kawaii swaps along with Diddl, Disney and Peanuts.
