Description:

This will be similar to Stephie's recent File Folder [swap](http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/107602"Stephie's Swap").

Make an envelope from a file folder, Decorate the front and backside of the folder using collage/mixed-media techniques.

But the Challenge is - ALL collage images have to come from one book. It of course can be any book - make sure it has loads of choices - I suggest reference books, example - atlas, anatomy, psychology , science - but you could go another way with any book you choose.

Also include a little something inside with a note telling your partner the name of the book that you used.

You may cut the file folder down in size if you wish no smaller than 6"x9"

Oh no, the dates are fine! I just want to get some other swaps cleaned up first. I actually stopped by the used book store today and found a book (as if I needed one!) that I hope to use for this swap :D

Can we use crayons, paints and washes? What about enlarging images from the book we choose? I think that I found my book today!

crayons, paints, washes all good. any mixed media/ collage technique you want I'm not sure about the computer being involved - I normally just cut it from the book. Does anybody else have an opinion about printed images?

I don't have a problem with reproduced images...as long as they are all from the same book, in keeping with the challenge. I don't think photocopying the images takes away from the challenge any.

Ok. I'm not sure I will need to enlarge I just wasn't happy with the size of some of the images and it may be fun to make some bigger.
