Beat the Blahs Super Special Swap Package

I have a lot of stuff going on in my life right now - and I could really use a super special swap package in my mail box. A package that was put together with a lot of thought and attention to my profile.... A swap package that shows me that my partner took the time to get to know me through my profile and then put a lot of thought into putting the swap package together. Is that too much to hope for? I sure hope not! :)

You will send the following things to your partner:

1. One purchased item (at least $5) - if from Etsy or other website should be $5 before shipping

2. One handmade (by you) item

3. One personalized item - name, initials, monogram, etc. (can be purchased or handmade but needs to be an additional item to the two items above - make sense?) If there is a special way you like things to be personalized be sure to leave it in the comments below

4. An old fashioned note/letter sharing what kinds of things make you feel "blah" and what you do to try to feel better - and maybe a comforting quote - it would be nice to put this in a pretty notecard or on fancy stationery

5. A recipe for your favorite comfort food

6. A treat or snack if you are sending to a country that allows food

You can include more items than are listed above - that is up to you - the above is the minimum. Really read your partner's profile - learn their favorite color, see what makes them happy, take special note of the things they do NOT want to receive.... Show your partner that you really want to bring them joy and a smile with your package!

I'm going to put a fairly long "send by" deadline on this swap to give you and your partner time to make something special, time to really think about what should go in the package, time to put together a really special package.

I know we have a special group of swappers in this group but I will still be checking profiles (very carefully because this should be a time intensive and maybe costly swap). Make sure you have a profile that will help your partner choose things that will beat your blahs!
