the matchbox swap for the month of March will be senders choice. Please decorate one matchbox inside and out and fill with trinkets and what-nots or craft items. create a well constructed box out of a template or the real thing.

Where would I find a template for a matchbox? I searched and it gives me links for matchbox toys. I want to experiment with making one-never did them before and what size should the box be? I'm a newbie with matchboxes-TKS

Personally, I don't use temps. Only real boxes that I get in an 8 pack from $1 store. If you make your own it needs to be thick cardstock or something better. Also your matchbox has to be shipped safely. Postage on these things only run about $2 depeneding also if you add in extras to your swap that make the package heavier.

So, the ones you buy are the small ones 8pk for $1? I have a couple of those tiny boxes if thats what you are using? I thought you were using the stick match boxes.
