Description:

Hello all, So here we go this will be my first swap on swap bot so bear with me OK for this swap you will make one captured fairy in a jar. The fairy can be a computer print out on thick card stock and secured with wire so she wont move about in transportation.
The scene in side of the jar can be anything you wish as long as it is pretty , The idea is to make your captured fairy look as real as you possibly can. Also decorate the outside of the jar with ribbon, pretty paper, gems,Etc also add a tag to tell your partner what your fairy`s name is and where and what date she was captured. Have fun let your creative streak flow enjoy medium size jars 10cm or larger
PLEASE NO FLAKERS
questions are welcome

Does the fairy need to be card or can she be clay model?

fluffyporscha 03/ 6/2012 #

@kezeven I guess she could be a clay model as long as she looks real, I think that would be fine :)

Oh my goodness, I was just thinking today how I'd like to make a whimsey jar but how expensive it would be to send overseas. Thank you for this idea and I am so excited to make my fairy a new home.

Uh oh! I've been so excited I've already made one, and found my first fairy so I can't wait to see who my partner is! I may keep the one I made as its the first one I made. We've had a lot of rain lately and I found her in a nearby river that almost reached the bank!
