Jump On board for a really great swap! What is Ephemera?? Merriam-Webster defines it as paper items (like postercards, brochures, and tickets) that were originally meant to be discarded after use but have since become collectibles. Basically, things that are too fantastic to toss. Swap Guidelines 1- By the sent by date you will send your 2 different partners each an envelope containing at least 12 pieces ephemera (some examples: maps, tags, postcards, ticket stubs, double-sided scrapbook paper, diecuts, used stamps, recipe cards, receipts, sheet music, sewing patterns, scrapbook/notebook cards, page from a book or children's book, interesting labels,quotes..... ) Please do not include more than 3 of any particular item.... in other words, please don't send a package with 5 canceled stamps, 4 recipe cards and 2 scraps of an old sewing pattern. Also.. consider your partner's interests and also your own country/community and find something interesting that your partner may not have access to where they live. You are welcome to send extras! I think that would deserve a heart! 2- You'll need to have a Swap-bot rating of 4.80 or better and a well filled-out profile. Newbies to Type 3 swaps are welcome if they have participated in OTHER Type 1 or 2 swaps on this site. Before assigning partners I will check that all Newbies have at least successfully participated in a Type 1 or Type 2 swap before. Due to the cost of mailing internationally this swap is for those who have participated on Swap-Bot before and have good ratings. 3- I will angel any packages that are not received by June 12th.... |
