Skulls & Skeletons ATCs

Hi, what do you mean with no photocopies? Must we paint all? I'm not very gifted when it comes to painting. :-( Maybe a skull and bones, but a skeleton never.

Collage and digital are fine. I usually work in both of them. By no photocopies, I mean don’t send someone a xerox of your card. We are all hoping for something original. Sorry if I confused you. I don’t like restrictions, so ANY MEDIUM IS ALLOWED.

I’d like your opinion for my future swaps. What is the ideal number of ATCs and traders for a swap-bot swap? 3 cards to 1 partner, 2 cards to 3 partners, 3 cards for 2 partners, or some other combination? What is best for you?

Mostly it's 2 or 3 for 3 people. I prefer 2 for 2, but if the theme is interesting, I make all of the combinations.

I've already made my four and can't wait to send them out!

1hand1heart- Your partners will be assigned on October 28th when the signup ends. You should mail your ATCs by November 1st.

Sending mine on monday. It can take a little while, because I'm sending from Germany.

For future swaps, allow more time between the sign up date and the send date.

I would have liked to sign up, but four days is not long enough for me to make quality cards.

Thanks for the suggestion bren. I usually start working on my cards as soon as I sign up. I don’t wait for the names of my swap partners. But maybe folks aren’t seeing the listing until right before the signup deadline. I’ll allow more time in my next swap.

Hi bren, in the begining of my swaps I thought like you. But now I make it like wackystuff. I make them when I see a interesting swap and they are ready, when I get the adress. But I understand, that it's very little space to send them. Greetings Monika

I'll send mine on Monday too. This time frame was way too short in my opinion also. Not that I can't get the cards done, just that I don't not knowing who my partners are until the last minute. It just makes me feel uneasy... susi

I think the shorter time frame between swap 'sign up' date and 'send by' date the better. I hate waiting for the names and addresses. As soon as I see the swap I make my cards and then I sign up for it so I am not scrambling at the last second to finish. Also, as for amount, I use the 9 card binder sheets so I usually prefer anything that amounts to one whole sheet. 3 cards/3 partners.

To Julie Miller, I got your cards today, and I love them! The bright colors are wonderful, and so perfect for Dia de los Muertos! I will rate you as soon as swap fixes the system, I can't see my partners to send to, or to rate...you get a 5 from me, as well as Wendy, you get a 5 also!
