I had so much fun with my fall scraps cards, that I thought a Christmas one would be fun too. Thus, get out your Christmas colored scraps and punch or cut shapes and arrange/adhere them to blank cards in any pattern you want. The main thing is we are using Christmas colors. You will have 2 partners so you will need to make 2 cards (one for each partner). Write a note to each partner inside your cards. Use a few scraps to decorate your envelope too รขโฌโ they don't have to cover the whole envelope. (One idea is to cut strips (or shapes) to form an address box). Easy, inexpensive, & fun - - a great way to make art with our scraps that we can't bear to throw away LOL! Adhesive tip for scraps on envelopes: If you use a good quality glue stick (not from the dollar stores) and make sure to put glue on the entire back-side of your scraps, you should be fine. You could always use double-sided tape on your scraps, or after gluing, cover the envelope with clear packing tape. But I've done this and so far my glue has held. |
