This swap was suggested by @Tatsu .

Let's make our partner some washi tape.

Here is one tutorial, but you may use any tutorial you like.

Make your partner 3 lengths of tape, each in a different pattern and at least 12" (30 cm) long.

Please make sure to package it for mailing so that it is not --- and does not get --- folded or creased in any way.

Have fun!

I was wondering if it would be okay to create washi tape another way? I have a bunch of paper tape that I have created washi tape by hand coloring and stamping.

I am sure your tape is lovely, but, since this is a paper craft group, the washi tape should be made primarily of paper. (However, if your swap partner is ok with paper tape instead, then that is between the two of you.)

I was wondering how to package it so it doesn't get folded......do we send it in 30cm long envies?? Otherwise it has to be folded at least once

I was thinking of grabbing a sturdy piece of cardboard, making a tube out of it and just rolling all the washi tape around it.

Toilet paper rolls will also work.

I am making mine all 12" so I can mail them flat on a sheet of cardboard.

Yes, you may make it any way you like as long as it is using paper (as opposed to fabric).
