I love finding new music and one of the funnest ways to do this is to get on Youtube and start at a song you know and look to the related videos on the right side! I call this Youtube Chains...because they all link together. It is also fun to see what song you start at and how different the song is at the end. Like a game of Telephone! Last time I did this swap, we all started at the same song but this time around I think I will make it so we can start at any song we want. This is about YOU finding new music as well as us learning from you! For this swap, we will basically create a list of 30 songs. You can start at any song you like. After you pick that first song, pick the next song in the list from the related videos on the right. Keep on and keep on until you hit 30. When you list the songs, make sure to include the song title, artist and YouTube link to the video as well as if YOU liked the song or not. Some you may not like. Some maybe beyour new favorite band. When you are doing the list, try to not click on the same bands twice. If you start at Lady Gaga, do not click on another Lady Gaga link. This is so you get a diverse list of music. You will have 5 partners. You will send it by email. Make sure to use BCC. When you receive your partners' lists, give them a listen and make sure to comment which ones you liked or enjoyed in your ratings. Nothing sucks worse than putting effort into a swap, even an email swap and getting a 5 with no comments! This swap is open to international. International people can include songs in their native language but please remember some videos may not play in the USA because of the different countries. This swap is open to newbies! |
