you can mail books at a book rate too....even better price on postage. From my experience, they get there in the same time frame as first class mail!

Yes! Media mail is definitely a great way to mail these books.

Could you define the kind of cookbook? It wouldn't seem right to send a hardbound expensive cookbook and then get one little grocery store booklet type.

I'm cleaning out my cookbooks since Im recently diagnosed diabetic! I'm looking for diabetic, slow cooker, vegetables, and all round cookbooks

Really whichever you're willing to part with. I don't want to put a price point on the swap, but it definitely is something to keep in mind while swapping. Personally I'm going to send a standard cookbook. I would suggest however if you're going to send a tiny book, to perhaps include two of them to make the swap more fair.

By the way, I realize it's sender's choice and my above post was just a hint as to the food types I would find most useful.

Great idea! If anyone else wants to make suggestions for what types of cuisines/diets they have, go ahead and comment :)

If anyone send to me and has anything that is kid friendly, that would be greatly appreciated!! But, I will like anything I get!
