Description: | |
We all have recipes in our arsenals that are family favorites. Let's make a recipe book and share them! They don't really have to be your greandmother's recipes, but old-time family favorites are what we're looking for. No green bean casseroles or funeral potatoes, things that most of us probably already have. Let's try for unique, tried and true, family faves. You will have 2 partners that you will send 5 recipes to. Make them 5x7 and decorate them nicely, but keep them fairly flat to save on postage. You may draw, paint, decoupage, scrapbook, whatever you like to decorate the pages. This means you will create a set of 5 recipes two times, or ten total. This may seem a bit much, but just think, it means we will each have 10 recipes in each section! You will be responsible for making your own covers and I have created a Flickr account for you to post pics to so that we can all see them. If you are new to the swap, I will send you an invitation so you can post your photo, too. (You will find the Flicker page here .) I will be checking profiles and ratings. You MUST have a 4.8 or better rating to join this swap, and no flakers allowed! I hope this swap will go all the way to the end and that won't happen if we have flakers. I will angel if I need to, but please don't make me. Lert's make this a wonderful recipe book that we can pass on to our children. This is going to be a long-running swap, but you are not committed to the whole series. You can join at any time or drop out at any time. We will do one type of recipe each month, as follows: Apr - Appetizers May -Entrees Jun - Casseroles Jul - Crockpot Meals (and a make-up swap) Aug - Beverages Sep - Halloween Treats Oct - Home Remedies, Lotions and Potions (and a final make-up swap) |
