Description:

Squirt cheap foamy shaving cream into a container. I usually use the disposable metal trays but you can even use paper plates. Add a few drops of reinkers each of 2 colors & swirl together like you do for a marble cake. Make sure the colors will mix well (red & green make brown). Press cardstock into shaving cream just enough to cover the cardstock. Remove the cardstock & scrape off the shaving cream with a ruler or old credit card. Scrape the shaving cream back into your container. Allow to dry. You can use this several times before it starts to look too muddy.

This look is pretty enough to make a pretty card front all by itself but we are making ATC's with it & then stamping an image on it. If you do not have reinkers, you can use food coloring. The thicker gel type works best. I would suggest you wear rubber gloves for this & lay newspaper over your work area.

You will send 1 ATC to 2 partners. You are a trusted member of this group but I reserve the right to ban.

I adore the shaving cream technique. The paper gets so smooth and creamy. :-)

Never done this before...started playing, then husband joined in. now we have enough marbled paper to wallpaper the hall. If you haven't tried it do it now...don't be put off by the reinker..plain old food colour was fantastic...

Okay, I've finished marbling. So fun! May we finish these any way we want or do we need to use stamps? I was just checking out the requirements and read that we should make our ATC with the marbled paper and then stamp an image on it. Just making sure I don't flub up the requirements:-)

The requirement for this swap is to stamp on the marbled ATC but, you can add to that stamping any way you wish.
