Description:

Having a surprise waiting for me in the morning, opening it while I sip my coffee: such a great way to start the day!

So, for this swap, we'll buy/make 7 envelopes, in 7 sizes, as they will have to enter one inside the other, from the bigger to the smaller. A sort of Matrioska package. Inside each envelope, besides the smaller envelope, there will be a little surprise. Think flat, small, not-too-bulky, to keep postage costs down.

Decorate each evelope, or at least make it pretty/colorful, and add a little note for your partner to read while discovering the surprise (it can be a greeting as well as a poem, a thought, a quote, a letter...). The surprise must be somehow profile based or, at least, profiles must be read to get some inspiration.

Mark a number from 7 (bigger envelope) to 1 (smaller envelope) - we'll open one envelope per day (at least, we'll try to! ;))

We can also share daily pics/thanks/descriptions in the forums!

I know you're all great swappers and there's no need to add too detailed rules about sending on time, communicating delays to partners and coordinator or package items appropriately...and blablabla.

Have fun!!!

Let me be sure I understand...we put a surprise inside the smallest envelope, but all of the other envelopes have a written note inside them - a poem, a quote, etc.? So there is actually one main surprise that is opened at the end of the week, correct? I like it!! =)

I was thinking you put a little surprise AND a note in all 7 (plus the next smaller envelope). Please let us know so we do it correctly. Thanks! This looks like it will be one awesome week of surprises! :-)

Yes, my idea was to put a note AND a surprise inside each envelope!

Even better! Thanks, Sara and Michele!
