Description:

I will be hosting a few matchbox swaps to see how it goes. I have gotten permission from the @Duhbe to use her swap as a guide for my swap. Thank you! This dolly will be Halloween style! The photo is also from @Duhbe swap home page so you can see how it is made. It's better than my photo. ;)

These rules apply to protect our good swappers: I will check profiles before assigning partners and reserve the right to ban anyone questionable. Must be rated for 10 Type 3 swaps. USA ONLY due to postage cost.

These are fun and easy to make! Be creative, do your best and have fun!

Using a 32 count matchbox, make your partner ONE matchbox doll. The legs are made from matches and they peek-a-boo from inside the matchbox when you open it.

Outside of box: Put a paper doll of some kind on the outside of the box and decorate. Not a sticker, but a doll you have cutout and attached. You can use hand drawn, rubber stamped or printed (as long as it is a clear, crisp print, not blurry!)

Inside of box: Decorate lightly on the inside. Glue matchstick legs on the inside of the box. The box should be able to slide open & closed for the peek-a-boo part. (TIP - check that the match head won't crumble and ruin your work) Duhbe says she has used burnt match sticks, great for Halloween! I drew stripes on my Steampunk dolly legs)

Add something extra to this tiny diorama to finish the scene – a flower, a charm, some words, some bling.... Embellish! Be creative! You will have plenty of time to make and send your partner a fabulous Peek a Boo Dolly!
