This is my first time hosting a swap and I thought it would be fun. In this swap you will take one empty Altoids mints tin (or another tin of similar size) and decorate it any way you choose. Be creative. Once it is decorated, you will fill it with assorted tea bags, about 5 or 6. Decorated Altoids tins make a great way to carry tea bags in a purse, backpack, diaper bag, etc. Each participant will have one partner and this is an international swap. Swappers must have a rating of 4.5 and no no-sends in the past 3 months to participate. Newbies welcome with a filled out profile. Please post your tea preferences and/or allergies in the comments sections.

No green tea, no herbal and no fruit teas please! I love Orange Spice, Lady Grey (UK) (no breakfast or earl grey tea), and red teas!!

I like mostly flavored black teas, but I am willing to try anything new and/or different. I love surprises!

Black teas are my favorites. I do like them flavored. I'd LOVE to find a good black tea with licorice in it (they quite making the one I used to drink).

i am not too picky but i tend to not drink mint teas much. also, my tea tin will spend a lot of time in suitcases and diaper bags so do not spend too much time adding items that might come off. i would prefer something that is cool yet practical. but i will be happy with anything as a tea tin is a great idea. why did i not think of this? -kris

I like all teas, especially ones with very unsual flavors. I.e. coconut aloha is one of my favorites from teavana.

I just found a book on decorating Altoid tins and was wanting to do this swap!!! Yay! And I love the idea of filling it with tea....I have no allergies or preferences. I love to try new things....so surprise me! Thanks for coordinating this swap. :)
