Your Partner's Favorite Colors swap!

I kept trying to figure out how to make a fun, color-based swap and it occurred to me that we all have different favorite colors - how fun would it be to get a super awesome swap from your partner that's brimming with bits and pieces in a color you adore?

To make it more fun and maybe a little easier as well, I would suggest that all participants post 2 colors they love in the comments section as soon as they've signed up. You don't have to send items in both colors, you can choose to send an assortment of one, or both.

The swap will be regional/US only and for an envelope stuffed with awesomeness - at least 6x9, but feel free to go bigger :) 1 partner per person.

If you can, put some mail art on the envelope - drawing, doodling, stamping, stickers, washi tape...the more, the better! It's fun for your partner and everyone who sees the swap along the way.

Items you can include for your partner should be predominantly in either one or both of the colors they will have posted in the comments section.

Ideas for what to include:

• memo or stationary sheets
• super cute, fun pens (no boring office supplies!)
• stickers
• handmade items, e.g. ATCs, cards etc
• store-bought greeting cards
• postcards
• washi tape
• ribbon (nothing shorter than 6 inches)
• Smash Book items (handmade for store bought)
• postage stamps
• scrapbooking paper
• handmade envies
• buttons

Since this swap is obviously designed to make your partner happy, please be sure to check profiles for any dislikes. Having said that, if someone clearly made an effort for you, please be nice and rate them appropriately - I'd really love to see this swap make everyone smile!

I'm setting the deadline for 2 weeks from now so that everyone has plenty of time to find lots of cool stuff for their partner :)

A few general notes:

• Please remember to include your swapbot name AND the name of the swap when you mail out your swap!

• I highly recommend taping the edges of envelopes if you're not using a bubble mailer to avoid disappointments that occur if/when a stuffed envie ends up getting torn or ripped and half or more of the contents are lost. :(

• It goes without saying that you should not send anything gross, dirty, dingy or smelly.
