I recently had to go gluten free, and now I'm always looking for new recipes that I can eat. I'm setting up this swap as a simple email swap so that people can share their favorite gluten free recipes.
For those who aren't familiar with the term gluten free but are interested in swapping recipes gluten is a protein found in wheat and similar grains.
The rules of the swap are really simple; send one recipe that you've tried and enjoyed to three people via email. The recipe MUST be gluten free. Sign-up will close on Sat. March 15, and recipes must be emailed by Sat. March 22.
I'm going to allow all swapers regardless of their current ratings to help them get their ratings better. If anyone doesn't receive a recipe from one of their partners I will angel. If the recipe that is sent to you does not meet the requirement of gluten free I will also angel you, and I would suggest that you not rate a 5 if they've not met this requirement.

Please note; this is the first time I'm hosting a swap! Please ask lots of questions so that I can see any holes in how I've done this.

Had to join immediately :D my dad and big sister have coeliac disease so I'm doing a lot of gluten free baking and cooking andmI'm really looking forward for some nice recipes to try out! I'm thinking that maybe I should send at least two, like a dinner and a desert kind of a set XD (me..... excited? nah..... ;))

Similar grains? It's wheat, barley, rye, wheat-related grains ( I call them wheat cousins), although the wheat- related list is not so short, it includes:. Kamut, spelt, semolina, bulgar, einkorn, farina, farro, graham flour, and emmer. (Some research is being done on whether all 7 varieties of oats are GF, only being contaminated in transport and storage.)

The number of things continuing wheat is huge, and the list that might or might not is long too: soy sauce, tamari,vitamins, .. This list of unsafe foods might help.

Thanks @Lady I didn't even think of putting a link to a more competent and complete unsafe list! I'm glad that people are excited about this!!! @liveve308 I love the idea of a dinner and desert! Maybe you should start a swap with those specifications!

I've signed up! If my partner sees this, I'd also prefer a recipe that is completely grain free, not just gluten free. If you don't have one that you love, I'm happy with one you know and enjoy, even if it has other grains. :-)

Sorry that I didn't assign partners on Saturday. Both of the places I go to get online had internet troubles.
