Thanks to Becky (Hag53) for allowing me to use her swap idea and words to create a USA version of her swap. Spring officially begins in a few weeks so let's celebrate a little early with a fun and easy swap that will help you get a start on a Spring theme junk or smash book. This is a one partner swap for 15 Spring themed items that can be used in a smash/junk theme journal. This is a regional swap for USA participants to keep postage down. One set of items to one partner. Examples of items to send can include: papers-no smaller than 5x5 flowers buttons ribbon or lace- no shorter than 5 inches twine-no shorter than 5 inches pieces of fabric-no smaller than 5x5 embellishments (thing wood veneer pieces, clothes pins, charms, etc.) chipboard birds/butterflies/etc. glassine bags or small paper bags stamped images-crisp and clean images, no smudges please ticket pieces (vintage or new) tags small works of art that can be slipped into a pocket journaling tags or plates hand decorated paper such as painted, sprayed or colored with gelotos post cards or note cards with a spring theme envelopes in a spring color or decorated in spring theme stickers can be fun when used in moderation Handmade items are always a treat for your partner so consider decorating a tag an envie. or paintchip ect... Please send a variety of items. These are ideas but feel free to find unique items to send your partner. You may send more than 15 if you like, but are not required to. I'll be checking profiles before I assign partners. Hope you will join in to make this a fun swap to get those creative juices flowing this Spring! |
