Need an excuse to go thrift store shopping? Me too! So on this 080808 Thrift Store Scavenger Hunt, lets find 8 profile gifts for your partner and mail them out by August 8th, 2008!

Here's how to play:

  1. You will have one partner and must send them 8 gifts that would match the likes or wishlists of their profile.

  2. Wrap all of your gifts individually.

  3. Include your swap name and name of swap on a card within your package.

  4. Must be able to mail your swap no later than 080808.

  5. Include something with the number 8 on it for an extra (optional).

The fine print: This is a USA swap only. Internationals can host a similar swap. You must have at least a 4.6 rating to play.

Just a thought: wouldn't it be better to mail things on the 9th, so as to do the actual shopping on the 8th? (And yes, I can't actually participate, but thought I'd pipe up anyways.)

Welcome, welcome, welcome Everyone!

Thanks for coming out to play! I don't have time for many actual craft swaps because I am now working full-time (Pre-K teacher...27 3yr olds!) And I'm taking college courses plus take care of dh, 4kids, my stepson is here for the summer and...oh! The list!)

BUT as you know SHOPPING IS THERAPY! So I gotta squeeze it in to keep me mentally balanced! :) So I'm gonna have soooo much fun shopping! In fact, I went to the thrift store today to see if I could find something with the number 8 on it. I can't WAIT to get my partner's name!
