Description:

This is similar to a swap I did about a month ago, and I thought I'd do it again because it was so much fun!

For this swap, you will send a NICELY DECORATED envelope to one partner. Any letter sized envelope is fine, but I think it would be nice to do something bigger so you have more room to draw, paint, and collage on. Think COLOR and really try up to FILL UP the envelope (on both sides)!

Inside the envelope, write a letter about your interest in mail art (how you got into it, etc.) and talk about some types of art you do. Feel free to talk a lot about yourself, tell your partner what projects you're working on, what swaps you're in, anything really!

Now, make a goodie or two for your partner. I would suggest profile-based. You can make a postcard for them to send, or give them a zine, or a fancy envelope, anything like that as long as it's homemade.

After you have received an envelope from the person who had you as partner, please reply to their letter. It doesn't have to follow any requirements and will not play into the rating in any way. Hopefully, you will begin exchanging letters with both the person who sent you something, and the person who you sent something to!

Now for the fine print: minimum rating is 4.9; newbies are welcome will a WELL FILLED out profile and if they know what level of commitment I'm expecting. I am more than willing to angel, but I hope it won't be necessary. This is a USA only swap!
