M/L/FT – Matchbox Diorama

I thought we would give a matchbox swap another go. So for this swap you will make your partner a matchbox diorama or shrine. For those who are unsure, a diorama or shrine matchbox is a standard matchbox (for this swap 32ct/small size) decorated both inside and outside. A filled matchbox is where your matchbox is filled with removable objects, a diorama or shrine is where the inside is decorated with a fixed “scene”.

The theme of the matchbox is senders choice – some suggestions are;- fairy house, fairy garden, Mount Olympus, Alice in Wonderland, magical forest. As long as it has a myths, legends or fairytale vibe, it is open to your interpretation.

As it is senders choice, you can start making your matchbox as soon as you like. You can either alter a purchased matchbox, or if you go to the swap-bot blog, there is a template to make your own.
