Description:

Bracelets are one of my favorite accessories to make and wear! I tend to wear them less during the summertime due to the heat. I don't like the feeling of sweat and metal on my wrist but I hate not wearing something! I've been obsessed with fiber based wrap bracelets. Love!! There are several different techniques and styles! Macramé, kumihimo, crochet, friendship...So many possibilities! So I thought a fiber based bracelet swap was in order! Perfect beach wear!

For this swap, you will make 2 bracelets for your partner. Even if you are new to any of these techniques, they are so simple and fun. Once you make one, you won't be able to stop. The only slightly challenging technique might be any of the crochet ones, if you have never done crochet before. But if you always wanted to learn, here is your chance!

Please check with your partner about wrist size and least favorite color. Obviously, you don't want to make your partner a bracelet with a color they hate and it's not necessary to make one in their favorite color either. Just a color they like! :-) The majority of the bracelet should be fiber, whether it is yarn, hemp, embroidery thread, knotting cord, rattail, t-shirt yarn, fabric beads, waxed linen cord, etc. You may use metal findings to close the bracelet and add beads, if you wish.

I've compiled a pinterest board with techniques and ideas for you to get inspired. If you have other links, please comment with them and I will add them.

I will give 3 weeks to send after the sign by date. This gives you a chance to try new techniques without it being too far into summer to wear your new bracelets! If you have any questions, please comment or pm me!

HAVE FUN!!
