Description:

Create a postcard for your partner to use, using your interpretation of The Color of Summer, and incorporating a literary theme somehow (your call on both, as long as you defend your reasoning) Creativity encouraged. Mail in an envie (color themed as well, to match your card) UNLESS your partners says she prefers them naked, in which case you may choose to mail it that way. This can be as time intensive and elaborate as you like, OR as simple as you like.

What color is summer, and why? Make the postcard literary themed in some way as well, and write a brief note (or not so brief) to your partner explaining your choices (if necessary) and offering a summer reading recommendation or two. Something you have read and completely loved.

If you need to expound upon your theme in a more verbose manner, by all means send a letter with the postcard!

If we enjoy this one we might try the color of autumn in august or september. :-)

Membership in this group does not guarantee entrance into the swap. Any ones and threes on your record need to have been fully dealt with. Try to prepare the swap ahead of time if possible. Communicate with your partner if it must be sent late. (But timeliness is polite, especially with a seasonally themed swap, and is a swap requirement) This is not partner-specific, but sender's choice.

So: if you receive a Color of Summer themed postcard, in a Color of Summer themed envie, with some sort of literary themed aspect included in the decoration as well, and a summer reading recommendation is included, rate your partner a five, or five and heart.
