Description: | |
I am going to start a series where we will make a set of crafter's tools for our partner. I am not going to specify how you make them - I am simply going to say that each one needs to be made with care in the way that every crafting queen will already do. As I am in the UK, the swaps will all be international, but each item will be small so hopefully that will keep postage costs down. For the first swap, we are going to create a scissor-keep for our partner. Here are a few ideas: As you can see, you can embroider, stitch, cross-stitch, sew or create in any other way, as long as it is sturdy and your partner will be able to use it well into the future. I know the term 'scissor keep' can mean several things, but for this swap I am going to say that the scissor keep is the little pocket that your partner can keep a small pair of scissors in, NOT the scissor fob as some of the images in the above link show. We will do a separate swap for the scissor fob. If you are unsure, please do ask. There are no minimum rating requirements on this swap because we are within the group, but please send on time or communicate with your partner and/or me if you are going to be late for any reason. I will angel if you don't receive your swap after you have tried communicating and finally rated your partner a 1. Some ideas for future swaps include a scissor fob and a pincushion, |
