2015 Chinese New Year

Let’s CELEBRATE 2015 with ATCs

We can celebrate (general) Chinese New Year, the Lunar New Year, the Spring Festival, or specifically Chinese New Year 2015, the Year of the Goat.

You can show celebrations of the Chinese New Year, such as Lion Dancing, Dragon Dancing, parades and/or fireworks.

You can show Chinese New Year traditions, like the gifting of money in red envelopes/red pockets. The Red Pocket is called Hong Pow or Ang Pow.

Cards can be produced in various media, any media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc.). If you use a sticker it MUST be in a collage.

Here's what an ATC is: Artist trading cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art 21⁄2 by 31⁄2 inches (64 mm × 89 mm). They need to have a sturdy backing. You can add your name, art name, date and contact info if you want.
