Description: | |
Penguin Awareness Day is January 20 This is a simple swap. Trade 1 postcard featuring a realistic, lifelike penguin with 1 person. Penguin Awareness Day is a great opportunity to learn about and appreciate one of the few natives of Antarctica. On this day, spend a little time learning about them.... a pictorial book or internet site is fun. You can also watch a documentary of these cute and popular, grounded birds. Penguins are found in Antarctica, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Peru, the Falkland Islands, and the Galapagos Islands. Elsewhere, they are only found in zoos. Again, for this swap we are trading 1 postcard with 1 person. The postcard can be black and white, or color, photograph or painted portrait. It can be new, or vintage (as long as it is in good shape). It can be store bought, or a Zazzle(etc) card that is nicely made. The postcard is sender's choice, and should be sent naked and stamped. Write a message to your partner. Please remember to sign and date your card, and include the name of the swap. Newbies are welcome with well-filled profiles. You must have a 4.95 rating to join this swap, with no outstanding or unexplained 1s and no 3s less than 3 months old. I understand that sometimes mistakes happen, but nobody likes a habitual flaker. |
