We will have 1 partner & we'll be making them a pocket letter with a theme; Snail mail & vintage Pocket letters are made using 9-pocket trading card sleeves. Each pocket is filled with something like stickers, paper ephemera, an ATC, a teabag, washi tape samples, etc. and one of the pockets must have a letter for your partner written by you. You can decorate the outside of the pockets with washi tape, ribbon, paper clips, etc but this is not required; just 1 item inside each pocket minimum. Each pocket is small, around ATC size, so small/tiny items are fit into the pockets best. You may need to fold some items to fit inside the pocket, like your letter, any book pages, paper stock, etc. Please be tasteful if folding any items and if it is best unfolded either trim/cut down the item or find something smaller. The idea is that when your partner receives the pocket letter they can look at it and adore it. :) They can also go through each pocket, find your letter, read it, reply if they wish, empty the other pockets and use the items for other projects, collections, etc. It's senders choice when it comes to what you wish to put in each pocket. Snail mail & vintage theme Your pocket letter must have a snail mail & vintage theme. Ideas for this theme:
Have fun and don't put any pressure on yourself! We won't be rating on your artistic ability at ALL. If you receive a pocket letter with 9 pockets, minimum 1 item in each pocket, one of the pockets has a letter in it for your partner, and the other items are snail mail and vintage theme, you've done a good job! :) Pocket letter sleeves can be folded twice to fit inside a business letter. Sleeves can be found on Ebay, Amazon and in craft stores. Please include a note for your partner with swap name & your username so you can be rated quickly. |
