For the Healthy/Low Cal Snack Swap 5 I'm going with a theme - PROTEIN. You will have one swap partner, and you will send them AT LEAST 3 different high protein snacks/meal replacements. Think nuts, protein bars, shake mixes, beef jerky etc. Anything that offers a good source of protein. Also, if you can, try to send individually wrapped/single serving packs. I realize this may not always be possible (such as with nuts), so don't stress if you can't find them. It's just helpful for those of us trying to track our food! IMPORTANT - If the nutritional info. is not inlcluded on the individual serving, please include it in your package either by writing/typing it out yourself, or cutting that part of the package off to include it. Also, if your packaging is in any language other than English, PLEASE translate the nutritional info. for your swap partner. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ - Many of us are vegetarians or vegans, so if your swap partner specifies this in his/her profile, PLEASE PLEASE make sure that your protein items do not violate their diet preferences. There's not much more offensive to a veggie than receiving meat or another animal product that they cannot eat. This is NOT SENDER'S CHOICE, so please only join if you think you can handle the specifics of this theme. Check your partner's profile or notes below (or message if you are unsure) to ask about food allergies and/or dislikes. A few wrap ups -- Please, if you send something like crisps (chips), ensure that they won't be crushed by using a box, not an envelope. But you do not HAVE to use a box, if you want to send items that won't be crushed like dried fruit. You can send more than 3, but you DO NOT HAVE TO. Have fun! Any questions, let me know :) |
