This swap is open to all who are standing members of the Chunky Book Artists Group and maintain group requirements at the time of "signup deadline". In this swap we will be creating house shaped pages with a haunted house theme. I have created a template from which we will cut our pages so that all pages are uniform in size and shape. We will have 5 partners. We will each create 6 pages......1 for each of our partners and 1 to keep. Be sure to use HEAVY cardstock as your base or glue 2 pieces of medium weight (not light weight) cardstock together for each page. Decorate back and front of the page with all heavy embellishments to the front and 1/2 inch from the left hand side of the page. The back of the page will be, of course, the back of your hunted house. You need not embellish the back but you must create it as though we are looking at the back of the house. Front of the page may be interior or exterior, but the back of the page will be exterior. I need not remind you that this is an artistic endeavor. Please try to get your books out on time. And…….Have Fun! IMPORTANT: Haunted House Template Once you have printed off your template, use it to make your pages. We will be using the entire house with moon. When cutting out your house shaped page follow the entire edge of the house and moon by cutting straight down the left side along the solid line that connects the moon to the roof and porch. Cut straight across the very bottom of the house to the other porch on the opposite side and continue cutting out the house. Once pages are sent and received, we will bind our pages any way we wish. I have added that straight line from moon to roof so that the left side of the page is strait for binding. |
