Who hasn't seen "A Christmas Story"?? I double dog dare you to say you haven't!! Well, it's that time of year again and I thought it would be fun to do an ATC with A Christmas Story theme. You make 2 ATC's and have 2 Partners (one ATC for each partner/2 ATC's total) Please, be creative...don't send the sticker on card stock ATC... make it fun, but send your best work and keep it to the theme of the movie!! If you haven't seen it...it's a classic, and a must see!!! I love it!! RULES: Must have at least a 4.8, no "No Sends" in the last 3 months and newbies welcome with a well filled out profile and a message to me telling me why they would like to join this swap. LOL i should of thought of something like this since i am in the town of the house of this movie and the convention for the movie will be at Thanksgiving...Gives me lots of ideas since the cast will be in town again :)

Yvonne1968...how awesome! I'm so jealous! This is my favorite holiday movie of all time (I bought my brother a leg lamp for Christmas a few years back). I have seen the movie over 100 times (literally)! Great theme cloud9!

I have heard from my friend Yano ( who played the Toadie in the movie to Scutt) that this is the last year they might be coming to Cleveland for the House during the Thanksgiving weekend for the convention, so if there is anyone interested that lives close to Cleveland Ohio you might want to make a trip this year, as it might be the last year the cast of the movie will be in town. :( it sucks because i will miss my one time a year get together with Yano, Zack(Scott) and Ian (Randy)

I love this!!! jjurgens - I gave my bro a leg lamp too! But, it was the smaller version, not the full size. I was 11 and he was 4 when we saw this in the theater for the first time. Our favorite line:

"I like the Wizard of Oz...I like the TinMan." by Goggles Kid in the Santa line. LOL! He's such a weirdo.

Yvonne - I just looked up the Christmas Story House site and read all about the convention - too cool!!! I wish I could go :)

I would like to join this swap please. We love this movie, we usually watch it all day long Christmas day. This is going to be fun, why haven't I ever thought of this theme before for a swap.

This was one of our families favorites and I think that my Dad easily related to "the Old Man"....He loved the leg lamp, the furnace issues and especially the Bumpuses dogs!

Even though he's not with us anymore, everytime I watch the film I remember how the tears rolled out of his eyes from laughter when the family ends up in the Chinese restaurant and how quickly the duck head issue is taken care of!
