Description:

The Wacky Days PC swap is a take on the wacky, strange, bizarre holidays swaps, but with postcards. Send your one partner a postcard that fits one of the themes for the week. It is okay to be creative if needed, this is for fun!

Week 28 is Monday, July 6th though Sunday, July 12th. Here is a list of Wacky Days:

6 National Fried Chicken Day

7 Chocolate Day

7 National Strawberry Sundae Day

8 Video Games Day

9 National Sugar Cookie Day

10 Teddy Bear Picnic Day

11 Cheer up the Lonely Day

11 World Population Day

12 Different Colored Eyes Day

12 Pecan Pie Day

Not sure what some of these holidays are? Click on the link below and there are clicky links on that website that describes the holiday!

  • one partner, one postcard, naked & written with a nice note and reminds your partner of which day from the list your card represents; it is okay to be a little silly or off-beat with the connection! This is for fun!

  • all types of postcards acceptable except handmade and free/ad

  • 4.97 rating minimum and open to all group members in good standing. I do check profiles during sign up and before assigning partners. I will angel if needed after you've contacted your partner and had to rate them a 1.

The list of wacky days I will use consistently is July Holiday so please feel free to browse future weeks for possible postcards to use from your stash. The website does list some normal holidays too, I will include them since I am using that list, but I encourage you to find the wackiest one from your stash each week.

I love these swaps and hate I have searched and searched my stash and have nothing. . . absolutely nothing for any of these wacky days. . . .urrrrgggghhhh

I agree - this is a tough week! Maybe the 11th could be met creatively? For cheer up the lonely find your cheeriest card and write some motivational quote-even if your partner seems like a cherry person and not lonely. Or for world population day if you have a pc with a random large crowd of people? Hmm have a pc with a live chicken....could work for the 6th. A pc with a strawberry on it for the strawberry sundae..

Thanks for your suggestions. . . I'm going to keep searching and push my brain for different perspectives. . . sometimes I am too analytical and don't let my brain 'flow' ~~ I still have time to join and I hope I'll find a PC because I do enjoy these swaps ~~

yay :)

And I notice I wrote 'cherry' person rather than cheery! Eating cherries makes me cheery!

I have really stretched my imagination in these swaps sometimes. LOL. I look at them as a challenge. I love them.

P.S. Fried Chicken is my favorite...I wonder if it could be sent "naked" through the mail as long as the postage was proper. O_O

Lol maybe only in winter with overnight delivery!
