Hi! I joined this swap, but can you please explain it a bit to me what savoury food is? My dictionary gives a few meanings to the word savoury, so I'm not sure. :)) Can you give a few examples please?

Savoury is any food that isn't sweet, so it may be salty or spicy or something, just not sweet. Examples could be things like crisps, nuts, crackers, rice cakes etc

For the drink - have people sent an actual drink (can or bottle) in the past or does it mean hot chocolate or kool-aid, etc.?

You can send any drink, however as its international cans or bottles may not get through customs due to them being a liquid, so it may be best to send a drink that isn't yet a liquid. If you want to send a can or bottle, it may be worth just checking when you get your partner, if it will pass through customs.
