Hello Friends,

This one's for you all who have an eye for photography and of cause any photo enthusiast. The challenge is to come up with photos for the challenge prompt, snap-snap it away and send to 2 of your partners.

Rules & Regulations:

1) Partners will be assigned on 16th of August.

2) Once partners assigned, look out for the prompt on point 5.

3) You will send your photos each day to your partner.

4) Make sure you do not miss the dateline; 23rd August.

5) The 5 prompts*

a. Share something shiny

b. A line / phrase from a book

c. The weather from where you're at

d. Share something in the colour black

e. Snap your pen stash

Since this is the first challenge, let me know if you would prefer it to be on instagram (this means you would have to follow your partners) / send daily photos to your partners (there will be 5 challenge prompts but I worry this may annoy your partner) / or to send within a certain date (which we will be doing once the challenge starts. Share your thoughts but of cause.. please be nice (:

PS: Just starting to see how the response would be like. As I've mentioned, comment and share your thoughts... but please be nice to everyone (:

UPDATE: Thanks for sharing your thoughts, we all have decided that it is best to have 2 different swaps for this; one for Instagram users and one for exchange via email. The Instagram one will be put up shortly.

Take note that swap will go on as long as there's 5 or more swappers joining. Or else, swap will be deleted*

I think it would be nice to do it on instagram, but I would also be ok with sending all pics at once :)

A few questions; how many photos in total shoudl we send? I'm confused if it's 5 in total or 5 per day making it 35 photos in total...? Also, I don't see why this should be confined to Instagram OR blog Or email, it would be better if everyone could decide by themselves how to send these (maybe include options to choose from but not limit to one platform). I like doing these kind of swaps but I don't like followig "random" people on Instagram for the sake of a swap, if that makes sense :D also if using instagram, maybe do a hashtag for this swap people need to use if using IG... watching for now :)

Hello @paraxparaxnoia It's a photo a day, 5 prompts will be given each day and you would have to produce 5 photos for your friends. Yes that's right... which was why I am here to discuss... cause I know some would feel awkward following people on IG just for the sake of it. Moreover.. what if the person's IG is on private? Then you would have to follow the person. Yes I agree it would be easier on IG by hashtagging this swap but we'll see how the majority responses. Thanks for sharing your thoughts (:

I agree with @paraxparaxnoia that it shouldn't be confined to IG. I don't have an IG account, and don't plan to have one, but I'd like to join this swap. If it's on IG, I won't be able to join. Maybe you could make 2 different swaps? One for IG exclusively and another for mail/flickr/whatever...

I actually did not think so far, but yeah @paraxparaxnoia and @fiorellaione are very right!

Maybe we really could just host two swaps, one for instagram and one for mail/blog whatsoever and everyone can decide where he/she wants to participate in :)

Maybe with different prompts, so people can participate in both swaps :)
