Tiny Teesha Moore Patches

We all have those tiny scraps of novelty material with those tiny little images that just beg for someone to take a closer look at them. I have one with tiny unicorns prancing around! These small pieces can fill in spaces between larger patches or can just be a postage quilt for a doll house. It doesn’t really matter how you use them, they are just so cute to look at! My nieces fell in love with my small ones and they have started collecting them! For this swap you will make three tiny Teesha Moore patches for one partner. The patches cannot exceed 2 inches by 3 inches. (They should be able to fit inside of a pocket pal without being snug.) Of course if they are smaller, that is even better. Each patch should have some kind of embellishment on it to make it have some extra “wow” factor. A piece of ribbon, a button, a bead…you know how your teesha patch should look! You can go online or to YouTube to see how to make a Teesha Moore patch. She just folds the edges over and whip stitches around the edges with bright number 5 thread. I use felt in mine because I don’t like so much bulk and the felt lays down better than the stuffing. You can make your patches how you make them. If you would like to see an example of mine, you can go onto my flicker account. The subject of these patches will be sender’s choice.

now to the not so fun stuff. you must have a 4.9 rating or better, newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile. no threes or ones in the last six months. I do check all profiles before i assign partners and will drop anyone who looks "hinky".

Ooh, there hasn't been a tiny TM patch swap in a while. Love this! (and I use felt in most of my patches, too, especially super small ones it's just easier to handle them)

Well Phooey- I love Teesha Moore, but had never heard of these little patches!! I will pass this time (too new to the site) and not familiar enough with this technique to meet the mailing deadline. These sound amazing!
