Description:

I'm working at creating the look of my dolls actually 'living' their house. I like moving them in as I paint and paper;) but I find that my rooms still look bare, but I've been working at the little details!

In this swap, you'll send your partner 3 items ($5 total before shipping--Use that Hobby Lobby coupon! LOL!) to help finish out their living rooms!

I'm going to call 1:12 on scale for this one as not everyone has the 1:6.

This is going to be a blast! I'll list some ideas below;) Please do the same! And lots of time to hand make anything you want if you're spending your $5 all in one place;) Or just spoil the heck out of your partner!

Charms can be used as toys, collectibles for shelves, even scale pcs! (I found 3 pre-made Christmas books for about $2.00 on sale at Hobby Lobby!) I snipped the little 'loops' for using them as charms off with wire cutters, but I don't really even think about it for most things!

I made a couple of lamps with beads, buttons and jewelry findings. They look a little odd on their own, but pretty cute in rooms!

Hat boxes...I found 6 for $3 to be finished from naked wood and am doing at least two for my house just to sit around and 'fill' in the space! They're around 1"x1".

What are some of your ideas?

Oh... and end tables. I keep finding 'spool' like objects around my house and gluing two layers of cereal box cardboard to the top, using Modge Podge and paint to finish them off and they are really cute!

I cannot, however, seem to get the perfume bottles idea right... My beads keep slipping and flying.

Margo, use pins or wire to hold bead bottles. Snip off the ends that show, or use the ball of the pin as a 'lid'.

I'd love to join, but I'm all 1:6 (playscale). Have fun, everyone!
