The Wacky Days PC swap is a take on the wacky, strange, bizarre holidays swaps, but with postcards. Send your one partner a postcard that fits one of the themes for the week. It is GOOD to be creative: this is for fun! Week 40 is Monday, Sept. 28th through Sunday, October 4th. Here is a list of Wacky Days: September: 28 Ask a Stupid Question Day 28 National Good Neighbor Day - Always September 28, previously the 4th Sunday in month 29 Confucius Day - Try your luck. Get a Fortune Cookie. 30 National Mud Pack Day October: 1 World Vegetarian Day 2 National Custodial Worker Day 2 Name Your Car Day 2 World Smile Day first Friday of month 3 International Frugal Fun Day - first Saturday of the month 3 Techies Day 3 Virus Appreciation Day 4 National Golf Day 4 National Frappe Day 4 Oktoberfest in Germany ends, date varies Not sure what some of these holidays are? Click on the links below and there are clicky links on that website that describes the holiday!
The list of wacky days I will use consistently is September Holiday and October Holiday so please feel free to browse future weeks for possible postcards to use from your stash. The website does list some normal holidays too, I will include them since I am using that list, but I encourage you to find the wackiest one from your stash each week. You should rate your partner at least a 5 if they sent on time, and mentioned the wacky day and how it relates to the card. Please remember this is wacky and it is more than okay to be silly with the theme and stretch a bit and think outside the box!! If you only think inside the box this might not be the swap for you! re:image - yeah, there really are some stupid questions. But you should ask them anyway! |
