I have hosted some Round Robin Journal Swaps, that are only open to "experienced" swappers (those with a good rating) - and I have been contacted by many 'newbies', asking if they can join. I've told them to find a quick turnaround swap, and get some great ratings, and then they would be most welcome! Well, there just aren't that many "quickies" that are open to the newbies...and well, I remember when I was one myself. Sooooo... This is for you, if you are brand new, or have not yet found a quick swap to get some good ratings (maybe a heart or two.) This is an international swap, open to EVERYONE - even experienced swappers - (adding a couple "5" ratings would be good for anyone) Swap Details: You will have TWO partners. (That means you will get TWO ratings) Send FOUR blank notecards with envelopes, to each of your partners. (That's eight notecards, which is usually one packet of notecards from the store.) This is a FAST swap (one week from signup to mailing!). So get your notecards in a mailing envie, even weigh it, and put your return address on it. Remember, this is an international swap, so wait on the postage, because it might be going overseas. Swap partners will be assigned right after the signup deadline, so all you will have to do is address your envelopes, attach the proper postage, and drop it in the mail. Be sure to click the SENT link, on this page. As soon as you receive your swap, please remember to rate your partner - there might be some newbies who are eagerly waiting for that number after their names. HOW DO I EARN A HEART? Good question - a heart means you have done something extra, above and beyond the requirements for the swap. It could mean including some stickers, or sending five or six notecards, or writing a nice note about yourself. Γ°ΕΈββ’ are not really EARNED. It is always the recipient's choice. Be sure to include your own name, the name of the swap, your swapping ID, as well as the date the swap was mailed - lots of us use nicknames, here, and may be in more than one swap of the same "type", so please help us out here. Have FUN with this, and good luck! Any questions, please just ask me, or message me. |
