I just bought these cool coloring postcards, so they will be perfect for this! I think I may send the five "lost" p.c.'s out into the world and add that people may have the option to color it before they return it home, or choose to leave it uncolored, to let the receiving S.B. member do it. :-)

@Kraftylady777 You can find them at book stores. I got mine at Hastings. Look for an artist named Johanna Basford. Her new postcard series is enchanted forest. Also available on Amazon

I bought the Enchanted Forest postcard set, mentioned above, at Barnes and Noble.

I also just got my order in from Overstock.com for an amazing deal on 50 Animal Kingdom coloring postcards. I looked through them all and each one is different; plus, there is a surprise photograph at the bottom of the box. It comes in a sturdy well designed box with a ribbon lining the bottom for easier access in the lifting the postcards up. It's pretty nice. Turns out there are a lot of postcards on their site and for a nice price, too.

Love this idea....a twist on the Art Abandonment movement. I've been participating in Art Abandonment since March 2015 and have a blast with it. I've got some ideas for a design for this swap. On my watch list for now.

Love the idea for the coloring postcards. It's the "in" thing to do for adults now.

Thanks @instiches ~ Re: "It's the "in" thing for adults to do now." I wish you could tell that to my mom! It's like she still has a block about creative expression being ok and accepted to do as an adult, esp. when it comes to coloring.

I like the sound of the Art Abandonment movement, too. ~ Pretty cool. I will check that out.

@CariPeace - There have actually been swaps on swap-bot the Art Abandonment. @ladydy5 hosts them, called Share a Craft/Art Swap. I have been doing it on my own too. Leaving things around the area I live in.

@institches it's funny how when we are introduced to something and then it soon shows up, in life. Soon after I wrote that last comment, I saw the swap you mentioned of @ladydy5 and put it on watch status, until I can complete more things right now. It's so cool. Thanks for mentioning it. :-)

Dumb question: do all of the postcards have to be "lost" on the same day? I'd love to hear where people are "losing" their postcards

i sent all my regular post cards today.. now to "lose" all the others! =)

@Kaftylady777 you don't have to "lose" them all the same day.. just make sure to "lose" them all by the send by date. =)

Fun thing is, I'm going on a trip soon, so I'll be losing them on the way from NY to NJ! :)

Lost them

Lost them as I traveled my way to the library, clinic, newspaper office ,, work, and various other sundry places that I got to go today. It was interesting to figure out where I wanted to put them.

I lost mine too. library, lobby of dr office, starbucks.

its exciting you hear where you all have "lost" your post cards! =) i really hope the strangers that find them send them homee =D i really hope they leave notes on the cards too! =)

I was so excited to "lose" my first postcard, at the fast food restaurant next to my work. About a half hour later, the ladies from that restaurant came into my office to return the postcard to me. lol...Sigh.....,

I got a cute LOST postcard from???? Who lives in Orlando? There was not a swap-bot nickname on the PC. It was for I think some kind of used book store so good postcard. I dont have the card right in front of me.

Received a lost postcard today, I think from Portland ? There was no Swap-bot member named, so I don't know who to rate. It was a postcard to be colored in and the person who found it colored it in and wrote "Cheers" with their initials. Thank u

You are suppose to rate your partner on the post card they sent you directly :) as the lost cards are a bonus as some may not get a lost post card, which means they would have nothing to rate. Please rate your partner on the post card they sent you directly.

I got 2 lost postcards this week. One from sue from a library and the person drew me a potato "home of the Idaho Russett." :D And the second was from sherryg221 and it was found at a library and the library stamped their stamp in the spot!

Sending to my partners today and will be losing mine over the next couple days. :)

I "lost" mine over this past weekend: one at a Cracker Barrel on the way to Orlando, and the other four over three days in various areas of the hotel and convention center.

Received stickerz78 lost postcard. With a note from a child that says I love you Ben 7. Thank you for the bowling card!!!

I got my second lost card it was from Kathy821, no extra note though. postmarked Sept 28th from SC and got here today. FUN.

I left 2 cards in different post offices, 1 in the UPS store, 1 in a coffee shop, and sent one to someone in Florida, who said she would leave it somewhere there.

I got all the LOST cards out tonight. Such fun to decide where and then where in the store. Had so much fun going from place to place that when I got home discovered that I had forgotten to buy what I had to go shopping for !!!

All of my cards to my partners went out yesterday. As my husband has to drive me everywhere, I only got to lose 3 of them yesterday. Will try to lose the other two today.

I have a fractured thoraxic 4 vertabra, and a lot of pain. Will do my best to lose the other two by tomorrow. Thanks!

I took notes, on some of my cards. I lost imagineme23's at the library near the craft books, widelo123's also at the library near the Saturday Night life dvds, I left one other (forgot to write down the name) near the dvd, Postcards from Edge. I lost Keziah's in the lobby of my DR office near the elevator, there is a cozy seating area. Then I left the last one at Starbuck near some free books.

I received a "lost" pc from pbcquiltlover. The front had a picture of Lake Worth Florida beach. The finder wrote, "The maid Loves Ya. God Bless!" It was dated 9/23/15.

Received a 'lost' PC from @kenziah but sadly the finder did not add a note. The PO, for that matter, didn't cancel the stamp, so i'm thinking of 'losing' this PC again to see if another finder will add a note and return it again!

@AZmom875 .. I was talking to the lady at the UPS store the other day. She said she found a card that had my name on it, and she was going to mail it, but didn't want to write a note, so she gave it to the UPS driver. He wrote "A little note" and drew "A little music note" on it!! LOL!!! So, yours was mailed by a UPS driver.

I got @pobunny s lost card today. It was found by the lady who cleans Arby's. Her name is Helen.

I am so excited I got a lost card from Gizmodust. AND the sender wrote all kinds of stuff on it. Book world Mason City IA, a bunch of people signed the card. The card has a cute bunny.

So just in case you are keeping score, I got 4 lost and 4 Unlost postcard from my 5 senders. Pretty good that I got the 4 lost ones.

Got the lost card from imagineme23 with a note saying "Bulleye" store 1820 . The person put a target dog sticker on it. Yay

Sweet! @gizmodust , finally one of the cards I lost, found it's way home!!! ~ I was starting to wonder. I left that one on top of a gas pump at a Walmart, leaning it against their t.v. and then prayed that the wind didn't carry it off. ~ I'm glad you love it and get to color it.

I received my first LOST postcard today from @suesuzieq with a photo of Mammoth Hot Springs on the front. There was no note but it was postmarked on October 19th. I am quite happy it made it.

Got one from Suesuzieq with the following added: "Hi, this is so cool! Angelica Lovelace, Pocatella, ID" Awesome!!!

Received my 2nd Lost postcard, yesterday. It's a Pantone 9044. There is a note, too, that says, "I found this Postcard and thought it was too funny (smiley face) Hope it arrives safetly to you!" Bottom says, "Harrisfamily2003: I am lost."

I received my second lost postcard on Saturday. It is a Pantone 18-4330 from @Harrisfamily2003. There is a note that says, "I found this postcard and thought it was too funny =) Hope it arrives safely." The postcard was postmarked November 4th.

Kind of strange with the same message on all 3. Bet there's a story that goes along with this !!!

actually it looks like 4 say the same thing and they were all obviously mailed the same day because we all got them around or on the same day. mine has a septemeber date on it.. which means it should have been lost then.. but i don't think that is the case as it looks like all the post cards were dropped in the mail at the same time.. almost two months later, all found by the same person as the messages are the same on them. hopefully @Harrisfamily2003 can explain to us what happened here.

I feel disappointed in my town and my library. I left 3 at the library, and I doubt they ever got mailed. I left 1 at starbucks, and I think that is the one that did get mailed and one at my Dr's office lobby and I bet they just tossed it in the trash, even though right outside the door there was a mail box.

I did recieve a lost pc from the Harris Family 2003, probably bavck in Sept./Oct. It has different colored sploches on the fron with a note "I found this Postcard and thought it was too funny. Hope it arrive safely to you!" Sorry about the late notification.
