This was was originally posted by SheWolf, unfortunately she seems to have not been on swap-bot for awhile and this swap has faded away..I have hosted this swap in a group and would like to open it to the general swapping public. I know this is a quick turnaround but I have faith that the USPS won’t let us down and get these delivered in time! If not we can play 9 days of Christmas - fingers crossed:) I have always loved advent calendars, it was so fun to come home everyday during the hectic holidays and have a small gift or two to open. Unfortunately the postage to mail these package swaps internationally has gone thru the roof and I can no longer afford the postage. But, I miss the little daily surprises so... For this pocket letter swap you will be creating a mini advent calendar for your partner. But there are only nine pockets so to make this work you will have a pocket to open on Dec 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25! Fun!
This swap is for US addresses only, APO,FPO,DPO (note your deliveries may be delayed) are welcome too. You must have have completed a minimum of 15 type 3 swaps. Your profile must also be more than a paragraph. No 1’s or 3’s in the past year or any unresolved 1’s or 3’s. Sorry no newbies for this one. I reserve the right to ban anyone I do not feel would be a good fit for this swap. Sorry for the quick sign-up and mail dates but the swap deadline was created to make sure your partner receives their PL advent calendar before Dec.1st. Feel free to start these on sign-up and finish off when partners are assigned. Some of you might have this swap ready to go from the first try! If you are concerned that I might ban you please message me before signing up. These swaps usually do not mail for one or two stamps. Please take these to the human at the Post Office to avoid sending a postage due Christmas gift :o I have found that mailing these flat for the “large envelope” rate is often the least expensive postage option. I will angel should the unthinkable occur. Any questions, comments or concerns please feel free to message me. |
