Is tan considered brown. I was making the card and was using tan (a shade of brown). Is that OK???

@Maggiesmother Sorry, I see you comment to late. I've already answered you question in a pm.

That's difficult for me to say, because there are lots shades of tan. But most of the time and if it is right tan is a very light shade of brown.

To answer your question. Tan is not brown, it is a shade of brown. If the tan colour you've used is too light, your partner may not consider it brown; I don't know how partner will see that.

At this point only you can say if the colour you've used is brown. Or you can wait until partners are assigned and ask your partner if she is ok with the light tan. But then, if she is not ok with it, you'll have to start over again, but I hope it will not and don't think it will go that far.

I hope you'll find an easy solution. Lucine
