Description:

Hello Lovelies!

We're going to make our partner a lovely mini flipbook!!

Do you like the idea of flip-books but don't have the time, or money to send a big one? Or you are new to flipbooks and are a little unsure on how to make one?

No problem! In this one we are going mini!!

All good things come in small packages!! :D

Using project life cards, or cards/paper of similar size (4 by 6 inches), create a flip-book of miniature proportions!

You can tape together Project Life cards, or just fold a larger bit of paper into small pages. Add pockets so you can put your letter and goodies in and decorate to make it beautiful!!!

Things you could include -

♥ Quotes ♥ Die-cuts ♥ Pictures ♥ Stickers ♥ Sticky notes ♥ Stick in a small card ♥ Banners ♥ Things stapled in ♥ Lists of your current favourites. ♥ Stick in an envelope ♥ Run it through a sewing machine. ♥ Add pretty envelopes full of goodies ♥ Paper clips ♥ Smaller Project life cards ♥ Tape on additional flaps...

There are loads of ideas on pinterest, youtube and instagram if you're a little unsure how to make them.

Swap requirements -

  • Theme - Sender's choice.

  • A lovingly made mini flip-book

  • No bigger than 4 by 6 Inches (folded up...obviously it will be larger unfolded) and no smaller than the smaller project life card size (4 by 3 inches)

  • Include goodies but don't include too many that it will be too bulky. I'd suggest flat items, or items that don't take up too much space.

  • A small handwritten letter. Please write more than "I hope you like this swap...". Write about your day.

Swap entry requirements -

  • Rating requirement - 4.99. (sorry, I will not change it, but private swaps will be considered)

  • Newbies with well filled and detailed profile are welcome. (Meaning more than a few paragraphs! The lengthier the better! If i feel your profile is a little sparse then you won't be allowed in the swap)

  • No one with current 1’s or unexplained 3’s allowed.

  • I will look at everyone’s profile and rating before assigning partners and reserve the right to ban anyone I feel is a bit dodgy or do not meet the above.

I will angel if need be but I'm hoping there is no need too!

Any questions let me know!!

I was just thinking of doing one of these!!! 😊 On my watch!

Oh and a question...You said NOT to include items that would make it too bulky. Is this a rating requirement, or just a suggestion to keep postage down? (

@homeandheart its to keep postage down and to make it not look too bulky because it could look a bit unsightly and might come apart. As long as it look nice and won't fall apart it would be okay :)

What is the difference between a junk journal and a flip book? Adding envelopes or pockets and making the pages versus using a ready-made booklet? Thanks

@jinanne a flipbook is more creative snail mail. A junk journal is made of found items and is usually artistic expression. A flipbook includes goodies and a letter.
