Is it too early to start thinking about Halloween? NEVER!! I love Halloween and everything that goes along with it so I thought I'd host a swap for a Halloween pocket letter Since the mail date is in early September, maybe you can use the pocket letter you receive as part of your Halloween décor ;+)

Here are the requirements:

  • 9 pockets filled with Halloween fun

  • coordinating papers on the back of the pocket letter

  • little goodies filling at least 6 of the pockets

  • a personal note (no need for a big letter) in one of the pockets

  • ribbons/fibers through the 3-holes along the side

Some suggestions for the pockets: tea, anything in orange and black like paper clips, papers for ATC's, brads, embellishments, Halloween poems, etc.

As far as theme goes, let's not do anything gory . . . or cutesy. If you decide to send candy in one of the pockets, please send something sugarless.

I haven't done this before but from the looks of it-I just want to confirm-it's basically filling a 9-slot collector card page with goodies? I"m very excited for the possibilities!

Hi @Elephangaroo Yes . . . BUT . . . the front of your pockets should be Halloween-decorated ATC sized papers and the back should be plain ATC-sized papers. You'll slip goodies between the two sheets into each of the 9 pockets. Hope that makes sense. It's such fun! Mine is done already except for adding goodies.

Ah ok!! I made double-sided ATC cards for mine (I got excited and finished it already) so I'll just make some papers for sandwiching puposes! :)

--what do you mean, "goodies between the two sheets"? I've never made a pocket letter like that? You mean each pocket contains 2 cards??? I don't understand, as I thought it just contains 9, as the individual cards are used as ATCs.
