Painters Tape & Ink

Place strips of painters tape, slightly longer than your ATC, sticky side down on your ink pad. Rub your finger over the tape to transfer the ink to the tape.

Now place the inked tape on your lightly colored card stock. Rub the tape again to transfer the ink to the card stock. Pull the tape off.

Use one strip of painters tape for each different color. You may do this technique horizontally, vertically or diagonally.

Now finish this ATC any way you want. This technique is to be your background. You may have the colors over lap each other or have a small gap in between as I did for my sample.

If you do not have painters tape, I believe masking tape will also work for this technique but rub the masking tape on your pants or shirt first so it is not as sticky & will pull off of your ATC

One partner receives one ATC. Be sure to add a sturdy backing.
