This is the third in our Flip that Cliché series. Cliché. n. "a phrase or opinion that is overused and betrays a lack of original thought." We know all of the clichés -- because they are tried and true! :) -- but a creative writer should always strive for fresh and new ideas. So for this swap series, we will flip a cliché. This time: What's good for the goose, is good for the gander..Still not sure what's going on? Here's an article that provides an excellent example of flipping a cliché. You'll have two partners. Send whatever snail mail works for you with your flipped cliché: postcard, notecard, letter, poem, essay, short story, flash fiction, etc. Snail mail. Group membership. International. | |
